In this work, We present photoionization cross sections of the excited states of lanthanidel atom of thulium in the near threshold region by using the technique of the laser ablation, laser pump-probe, resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization (REMPI) combined with time of flight mass spectrometer(TOF - MS). The REMPI spectra of Tm I in the range of 291.00 - 293.50 nm were reported and the photoionization cross-sections of the 4f13(2F05/2)6s6p(1P01)(5/2,1)7/2 and 4f13(2F05/2)6s6p(1P01)(5/2,1)5/2 states above threshold regions (0.2 - 1.0 eV) were measured. The measured values ranged from 3.3 ± 0.2 Mb to 13.9 ± 1.3 Mb. |
