Atomic and ionic near infrared emsision spectra induced by the impact of 129 Xeq+ on Ta solid surface [J]. J. At. Mol. Phys.(原子与分子物理学报), 2024, 41: 063001 (in Chinese) |
The highly charged 129Xeq+(17≤q≤27) ions with certain kinetic energy are incident on the clean Ta target surface respectively, then the measurement of near-infrared spectral lines with wavelength from 800nm to 1700nm emitted from Xe hollow atoms and Ta atoms is reported. The experimental results show that the de-excited emission characteristic spectral lines of hollow atoms in multi-excited states, some typical transitions follow the ladder pattern, the single-particle fluorescence yield of the spectral lines emitted by Xe atoms and the single-particle fluorescence yield of the spectral lines emitted by excited Ta atoms increase with the increase of the charge state of the incident ions, and the increasing trend is consistent with the trend of the potential energy carried by the incident ions with the increase of the charge state. It is proved that in the energy region near Bohr velocity, The classical over-the-barrier model is valid. |
